These 90% Silver Walking Liberty Half Dollars are a classic addition to any Silver stack. Each lot contains $1 face value in Walking Liberty halves (2 coins total), featuring mixed dates and U.S. Mint marks in Average Circulated condition.

Designed by Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse displays Lady Liberty draped in an American flag, carrying branches of oak and laurel—symbols of civil and military glory. The reverse shows a majestic eagle perched on a rocky crag, wings partially spread as if preparing for flight.

Struck by the United States Mint from 1916 through 1947, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar is widely considered one of the most beautiful coins ever produced by the U.S. Mint. Each $1 face value contains approximately 0.715 troy ounces of actual Silver weight.

Like all pre-1965 90% Silver coins—often known as junk Silver or constitutional Silver—these pieces were removed from circulation after Silver was eliminated from everyday U.S. coinage. Many Americans saved them as a form of real money, giving them strong demand among today’s Silver stackers.
